Course Description:
This course presents an overview for real estate agents on the types of basic loans available for the Buyers with whom they work.  The types of loans addressed include: USDA, VA, FHA, Conventional, Jumbo, Combinations and will touch on a few Non-Traditional lending options.  This course will cover the loan application process, definitions & jargon and appraisal issues.  Agents will understand Buyer & property requirements, loan processing and how the mortgage is received to buy the house.  After completing this course, real estate agents will better equip agents to assisting their clients by way of adequate information from the lending perspective. 
 
Course Objective:
The purpose of this class is to assist agents in recognizing if their client (and a property) is eligible to qualify for various types of Mortgages since the qualification terms and regulations for each program varies. At the end of this course agents will be able to identify when a Buyer would use a Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA or Jumbo loan and understand the general program guidelines.  Students will be able to assist their buyers in comparing the types of loans for which they would be eligible and to help assess potential homes to purchase based on the type of Mortgage the Buyer will pursue.
